To strengthen our operational teams in Tholen, we are looking for a Technical Buyer who thrives in a technical project environment and enjoys coordinating between suppliers, engineering, and project management. You’ll be working in a dynamic setting where quality, collaboration, and results are key. You will primarily support the business units Bayards Helidecks and Bayards UP, while being part of the Bayards Group procurement team. This means your work will be mainly based in Tholen, with occasional activities at our Nieuw-Lekkerland location.
Bayards Helidecks & Bayards UP develop and manufacture complex and high-quality aluminium helidecks and related constructions for clients worldwide. As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for procuring the necessary products and services to support our operational teams. You work closely with colleagues from various disciplines and contribute to the success of projects executed worldwide from our Tholen location.
You aim for the best price and quality conditions and operate within a compact and committed team with a high level of responsibility and autonomy. There is plenty of room for your ideas and suggestions to improve procurement processes. You are a strong sparring partner for internal stakeholders and know how to uncover the question behind the question. With your self-starting mentality, drive, and pragmatic approach, you tackle a wide variety of procurement challenges. Your technical knowledge and insight enable you to effectively support the organization in its projects. Your responsibilities include:
