What will you do?

As a Mechanical Engineer at Bayards Helidecks, you are responsible for designing 3D models for clients and creating shop drawings for internal use. You work independently on (part) assignments within a project team and maintain contacts with various internal departments and external suppliers or development partners. Your responsibilities include:

Advising on the feasibility of client requests.
Translating client requirements into 3D models according to applicable procedures and instructions.
Developing designs into a 3D model, drawing package, and bill of materials.
Documenting relevant information for production and service documentation.
Assessing specifications and determining changes to project components.
Coordinating progress and specifics with colleagues and external partners.
Reporting on progress and issues in processes and production.

What do you bring?

Education: Completed technical HBO education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Several years of experience in a similar position.
Skills: Knowledge of and at least 2 years of experience with Tekla.
Competencies: Eager to learn and have a broad interest in technical developments.
Personality: A flexible person who can work independently as well as in a project team.
Language Skills: Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is an advantage.
Driver's License: In possession of a driver's license and own transport.
Travel Distance: Living in the vicinity of Heijningen, Tholen, or between.
Availability: Preferably available to start soon and willing to commit to this exciting challenge for 40 hours a week.
